More Signs of Spring

The snow is a bit of a shock but the bigger question is...did the sheep eat the tulips or was it the rascally rabbits?

I am always surprised to see where crocuses appear!  These ones have somehow migrated from the garden to the lawn.

The robins are setting up a home in the eaves of my new little garden shed!

Thank you so much for visiting!  I will have more images of our farm to show you soon!

Getting Ready for Spring

Hello Everyone, doesnt it seem like Spring is taking forever to arrive?

This young red maple was moved last year and seems to have survived quite nicely.

This poor crab apple has been feasted upon by little rodents over the winter.  I am not sure it will survive.

The daffodils are bursting with buds.  Many clumps should be divided this year!

My little garden shed will need to be painted this year.  The windows are original glass from our 1850s stone farmhouse.

These little tete a tete daffodils were assaulted by our marauding chickens.  They escaped from their run yesterday and had quite a good time digging up gardens looking for worms and tender green shoots!

Thank you for visiting and enjoy your week!
